Minerals & Materials Processing Equipment:
Separators - Magnetic
Eriez' Rare Earth Roll Separators provide an alternative in handling a wide
variety of materials which do not respond well to traditional methods of
processing on low intensity dry drum separators or high intensity induced
magnetic roll separators.
Separators - Drum
Eriez Rare Earth Drum Separators effectively collect fine ferromagnetic and
paramagnetic materials in ore treatment operations. Powerful permanent magnets
enable more efficient separation performance for a broader range of application
than ever before.
High Intensity Dry Magnetic Separators
Permanent magnetic separators for purification or concentration of strong or
even weakly magnetic materials.
Magnetic Separators - High Gradient
Magnet technology has taken a quantum leap with the development by Eriez
Magnetics of a fast-ramp superconducting magnetic separator. The new 5 Tesla
laboratory unit reduces energy consumption to practically zero and has
off-on/on-off cycles of less than one minute. Its economy and speed of operation
greatly increase magnetic separation capabilities for a broad range of
applications.
Wet Concentration
Eriez line of wet concentrators offer unique systems for the concentration or
classification of coal, iron ore and industrial minerals using a modified
hindered-bed approach. The hindered-bed concentration method used in the
Crossflow or Hydrofloat Separator provides an economical and efficient means of
sizing material such as sand and phosphate. The CoalPro column flotation cell
provides an innovative design providing low operating cost, low maintenance cost
and no aeration pumps. Eriez provides a full range of column flotation services
from evaluative studies through equipment design, fabrication and commissioning.
Separators - Wet Drum
For automatic, continuous recovery of magnetite or ferrosilicon in heavy media
operations and concentration of ferrous and weakly magnetic ores.
High Intensity Wet Magnetic Filter
The magnetic collection of fine particles requires a high intensity, high
gradient magnetic field. An electromagnetic matrix type separator, referred to
as a magnetic filter, has proven to be the most effective method of separation.
Dry Vibrating Magnetic Filters
Eriez' unique Vibrating Magnetic Filter incorporates vibrating filter elements
to provide a high capacity material flow. As the material flows through the
magnetized elements, the iron bearing contaminants are captured, resulting in a
high-purity product.
Ball Mill Magnetic Separators
Eriez, a pioneer in the development of magnetic separation technology, offers a
unique system for the separation and removal of balls and broken ball pieces
typically used for ore processing in ball/SAG mill operations.
Magnetic Mill Liner
The metal magnetic mill liner is a wear resistant steel-encased magnet designed
for Secondary and Regrind Ball Mills. It combines the best qualities of steel
and magnetic liners. The magnet holds the metal magnetic liner to the shell and
retains ball chips and magnetic minerals to form a solid protection layer which
serve as the wear liner.
Electromagnetic Pulley
Eriez provides the protection of a separator with a powerful uniform field over
its entire surface. This field removes both large and small tramp iron from
nonmagnetics traveling at various speeds in various burden depths on belt
conveyers.
Separators - Pulley-type
A PT (Pulley-Type) Separator, whether standard or special, may well provide the
answer to a difficult separation problem requiring the use of a magnetic pulley.
PT Separators are built in almost any size to handle the speeds and capacities
necessary to meet whatever output an operation requires. Pulley-Type Separators
are available in standard and special models and sizes in both electro and
permanent magnetic designs.
Separators - Electrostatic
Electrostatic separation relies on the difference in surface conductivity of the
materials to be separated. Conductive and nonconductive particles such as
chopped wire and computer scrap can be efficiently separated.
WHIMS Separators
For high capacity, continuous removal or concentration of feebly magnetic
materials. WHIMS separators with capacities up to 120 tph have been
custom-designed for applications where high intensity magnetic separation can do
the job most economically.
Magnetic Flocculators
Permanent Magnetic Flocculators aid in the separation of minute magnetic
particles from liquids and slurries. Used widely in the iron and coal mining
industries to speed settling of fine magnetic particles in ore slurries and
heavy media slurries, they are finding new use in steel and other industries.
Demagnetizing Coils
These Electromagnetic Demagnetizing Coils have been specifically designed to
give many years of maintenance-free service for demagnetizing natural magnetite
flowing through pipelines following recovery by a magnetic separators.
Laboratory Equipment
Efficient, advanced design, proved-in-operation laboratory and pilot plant
equipment for wide variety of materials and applications. Units are also used in
universities, commercial testing laboratories and industrial installations
throughout the world.
Tester- Davis Tube
Eriez' Davis Tube Tester Model EDT is an indispensable laboratory unit for
determining the ferro-magnetic and non-magnetic fractions of small samples of
crushed magnetic iron ore, magnetite, pyrrhotite, etc.
Sampling Systems
From individual pieces of equipment through to turnkey systems, Eriez
Prisecter's specialist service provides sampling systems to be incorporated into
plants handling particulate solids or slurries
