Full Line of Peelers
WSP-2000 FAMILY
Magnuson Corporation today manufactures a full line of peelers to be able to
match peeler size to production capacity. The WSP-2000 family consists of five
machines with two different roll sizes:
WSP-2046: 4 rolls, 6-inch diameter roll
WSP-2063: 6 rolls, 3-inch diameter roll
WSP-2066: 6 rolls, 6-inch diameter roll
WSP-2086: 8 rolls, 6-inch diameter roll
WSP-2123: 12 rolls, 3-inch diameter roll
All of the machines in the family are hydraulically driven. Each roll has its
own hydraulic motor. One control valve is used to adjust roll speed. All
hydraulic plumbing is completed at the factory. Only two connections are
required at the installation: electrical and water. The two roll sizes mean the
peeler can be configured for the product size.

WSP-2066 6 rolls, 6-inch diameter roll standard with: 3 abrasive, 3 brush rolls,
discharge gate
WSP-2086 8 rolls, 6-inch diameter roll standard with: 8 abrasive rolls,
discharge gate
WSP-2123 12 rolls, 3-inch diameter roll standard with: 12 abrasive rolls,
discharge gate
Brush rolls or abrasive rolls can be used interchangeably to meet the
application requirements
NF FAMILY SUMMARY
Magnuson Corporation has been manufacturing peeling machines for 30 years. The
performance provided by rotating cage, with counter-rotating rolls and full
length auger, is unbeatable.
Today, the Magnuson NF-24 is much less costly to maintain. Most important, the
performance provided with the full rotating cage, counter-rotating rolls and
full length auger for controlling residence time has been maintained. Some of
the improvements are:
Water lubricated bearings (6-7 gpm per machine), only 9 grease points of the new
machine (vs. 60 grease points on old unit), ring gear supported by water
lubricated plastic bearing (like rolling bearings), all stainless steel frame,
overhead motors with speed controlled by electronic frequency controllers.

24 each 3-inch diameter abrasive rolls.
OPTIONS: 3-inch diameter brush rolls 2 7/8-inch diameter abrasive rolls.
NF - 18
18 each 4-inch diameter brush rolls.
OPTIONS: 4-inch diameter abrasive rolls 3-inch diameter abrasive rolls Soft
rubber disc rolls.
